Allexia Hospital exists to close the heart-care gap in North Bihar — bringing specialist cardiac, lung, vascular and emergency treatment to Begusarai instead of asking patients to travel hundreds of kilometres for it.
For decades, families in Begusarai needing cardiac surgery had to travel 200 km to Patna, 600 km to Delhi, or 1,800 km to Mumbai.
The journey alone — let alone the cost — pushed many patients to delay or skip life-saving treatment.

Founded by Dr. Dheeraj Kumar Shandilya as part of the Shandilya Hriday Suraksha Abhiyan (MSM Heart Safety Mission), Allexia opened in 2023 as the first dedicated heart hospital in Begusarai.
The goal was simple — bring tertiary cardiac capability within a 30-minute drive for every patient in Begusarai and surrounding districts.
Specialist cardiac surgery is the spine of what we do — bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair and replacement, minimally invasive cardiac surgery.
Supported by full pulmonology, vascular, thoracic and emergency departments. We keep the scope tight so every department runs with senior consultant oversight, not as a side service.
Cost is the second barrier we built Allexia to break.
Patients enrolled under our MSM Hriday Suraksha Card get free OPD, ₹500 chest X-ray, ₹60 ECG, and structured follow-ups — no surprise bills, no separate counter for "consultation fee".
Card issue itself costs ₹10. Valid one year, renewable.
Over the past year we've worked with the local administration and community partners to make sure the card reaches families that need it most — especially patients managing chronic cardiac conditions who need long-term follow-up, not just one-off procedures.
